William Bradshaw's Hands

The hands of William Bradshaw of Poquoson, on the dock at the Railway. In addtion to working at Smith's Marine Railway over the years, William was First Mate on the "F.D. Crockett" and came from a long line of working Waterman. William was also a World War II veteran having served with the Air/Sea rescue unit at Langley Air Force Base. This photograph was taken by Jamie Smith as part of a College class project.

"Ilha Azul"

"Ilha Azul", circa 1942
 O Clube Naval da Horta foi armador de um cutter chamado "Ilha Azul" que era muito semelhante ao Classe Brasil. about an hour ago . Os seus desenhos eram mais ou menos contemporâneos. Quanto à autoria falava-se de Nunes Brothers de Sausalito (ascendência pioense, Açores) ou de S&S.
